Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is writer of numerous popular American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It began in 2002. Ina Garten started her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating however she soon lost interest, and opened a speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she decided to sell it and started writing her first book. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columns which were added. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. Ina sells a variety of items, from the ingredients needed for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. She is well-known for her unpretentious way of entertaining and easy food preparation.
